Election Integrity Update - 4/15/2023

Jacqueline Breger at Arizona Assembly
On Saturday’s election integrity update Garland Favorito reviewed some current elections-related events including Jacqueline Breger’s testimony at the Arizona Senate Elections and House Municipal Oversight & Elections committees on Feb. 23, and the expulsion of Representative Liz Harris from the Arizona House of Representatives last week. Garland and Judge Paul Nally then held a discussion regarding President Trump’s indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the authority of Congress and the House Judiciary Committee to investigate.

Tim Adderholdt talked about the constitutionality of the involvement of county political parties in the selection of county Board of Elections members. His petition to challenge this process in Cherokee County was met by the introduction of HB 642. Philip Singleton have sued the State of Georgia to stop using the illegal ballot marking device (BMD) voting systems from Dominion, we need to urge our representatives and senators to replace them! P.P.S.  If you are able, please chip in $10 or more today so the CP-GA can cover the cost of meetings and campaigns to keep up the fight for election integrity here in Georgia.  Checking the “Monthly” option is an extra boost.
