ATLANTA, GA - 06/08/2016 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Darrell Castle, the only constitutional conservative running in any national political party for President in 2016, will be speaking in McDonough this Friday evening at the Constitution Party of Georgia’s State Convention. The convention will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn located at 250 Avalon Court.
With the increasing dissatisfaction among voters regarding the two leading parties' choices, Castle offers a viable alternative for voters concerned about religious liberty, the sanctity of life, protecting and adhering to the Constitution and true limited government. The meeting is open to the general public and is a great opportunity to learn more about a serious alternative for the November election. More information about the convention and registration can be found at gaconstitutionparty.org.
Georgia Constitution Party Chairman Ricardo Davis commented, "Constitutionalists and conservatives have been talking about the need for a third-party candidate, and now a level-headed candidate with long-term credibility on the issues has arrived on the scene. Castle’s campaign is the beginning of the revolution to have a real second political party that will advocate for life and liberty. Castle is not beholden to interests that stand against our platform and policy."
Having recently won a ballot access court case in March, the Constitution Party of Georgia has an extensive effort underway to collect petitions by June 30th to get Castle on the ballot. More information about the petition effort can be found on the Constitution Party of Georgia website or by calling (404) 994-3586.
Born and raised in Kingsport, TN, Castle received a B.S. in Political Science and History from East Tennessee State University and a Juris Doctorate from Memphis State. Castle served in Vietnam as a U.S. Marine Corps officer. He has operated a successful law firm headquartered in Memphis, TN since 1984. With his wife Joan, Castle started a foundation for homeless children in Bucharest, Romania in 1998. Mr. Castle produces "The Castle Report,” a podcast commentary on domestic and international policy issues. The Castles currently reside in Germantown, Tennessee.
