Statewide Tele-Town Hall - 1/13/2024

Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates book coverOn this week’s Statewide Tele-Town Hall, we highlighted the foundation of the American Republic.  In the Constitution Party’s National Platform, the Preamble states, “This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on a foundation of Christian principles and values.”  Pastor Matt Trewhella, author of The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates (video), spoke about that foundation which includes the God-given right that a lower-ranking civil authority has to refuse the execution of unjust or immoral laws, policies, or court opinions of a higher-ranking civil authority, that is the right to defy tyrants.  He will give away a copy of his book “The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates” to one of our supporters on the call and we will announce the winner next Saturday.

As you are most likely aware, the Curling v. Raffensperger case was in court last week and is expected to continue for an additional two weeks. I (as one of the plaintiffs in this case joining in my official capacity as State Chairman of the CP-GA) was joined by Tamara and Garland to report on the first week of the trial. Also, John Eastman called in to talk about his upcoming presentation on “Orwellian Dystopia - 1984 Comes to 2024” to be held next Saturday, January 20th at noon in the Main Event Room at Roswell Office Suites, 760 Old Roswell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076.

Then Gen Wilson from Georgia Right to Life informed us of their legislative efforts to protect prenatal life in preparation for the 2024 Session, and Brooke Robyck told us about the upcoming Georgia Stand for Life Rally to be held in Atlanta on January 26 (click here for slides).

P.S.  Representative Emory Dunahoo introduced House Bill 496 on February 2023 to accomplish the long-term pro-life goal of completely abolishing abortion in Georgia. The bill is still alive for the 2024 legislative session politicians need to hear and see the presence of the pro-personhood movement right now! Click here to email and call to urge them to do justice for all pre-born children.

P.P.S.  If you are able, please chip in $10 or more today so the CP-GA can cover the cost of meetings and campaigns to keep up the fight for election integrity here in Georgia.  Checking the “Monthly” option is an extra boost.
