On last Saturday’s Election Integrity Update, Garland and Tamara Favorito evaluated all the petitions to amend state election rules that will be heard in the August State Election Board meetings and discussed which petitions VoterGA supports and which ones we don’t.  They also provided an update on the status of the proposals that were approved at the July 9th meeting and are up for approval as new rules. 

Former Georgia House Representative for District 28 Dan Gasaway joined us to discuss SEB2018-104 scheduled to be heard by the State Election Board on August 6.  This complaint involves ineligible voters in that changed the outcome of his State House election and illustrates the corruption and dysfunction in the Georgia Secretary of State’s Investigations Division.  Gasaway’s case was featured in an investigative news report three years ago.  This involved a sitting District Attorney using the power of his office to cover up felony criminal activity by multiple elected officials, click here for the news report.

• The Georgia State Election Board will be holding a meeting on Aug 6th at 9:00 am at the Georgia State Capitol Building Room 341 at 206 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA 30334.  It is critically important to have as many election integrity supporters there as possible, plan to be there extra early so we can pack the chamber!  Click here for details. 
• The north Georgia chapters of Georgia Right to Life will host Redeeming Hope: Life Through Christ featuring passionate keynote speaker April Chapman (The Standard of Truth podcast) who will talk about confronting the lies of the abortion industry. • The Truth in Education Summit, a catalyst in ensuring a safe learning environment for all children, will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24th at First Baptist Church of Atlanta, 4400 North Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30338.  A renowned group of speakers will share crucial information regarding this educational crisis, the dangers to our children, and how we can take action as Christians.
