Election Integrity Update - 3/2/2024

VoterGA at Senate Committee Hearing

On last Saturday’s Election Integrity Update Garland Favorito talked about the legislative bill life cycle, and he and Tania Sosa reviewed the election integrity bills that remain active after this year's “Crossover Day” (February 29, 2024) - the date in which bills must be voted on by the whole chamber where they were introduced.   In addition, Garland discussed VoterGA’s Amicus brief filed for the Georgia Supreme Court in the Jeff Miller case to ban the Dominion voting system.  Amber Connor joined us again to report on the last day of the Fani Willis disqualification hearing and we watched the closing statements by attorney Harry McDougald who represented Jeffrey Clark in the case. Use the link below to view the March 2nd Election Integrity Update if you missed it or want to share with friends and family.   The recording will be available for 14 days after the call.

P.S.  The indictment filed against President Donald Trump and 18 Americans by the Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is a direct attack on the integrity of our elections and the republican form of government guaranteed by our federal and state constitutions.  Failure to act now will imperil the 2024 elections. Click here to tell legislators to support House Resolution 872 to Impeach Fani Willis.  Thanks for supporting these efforts!

P.P.S.  If you are able, please chip in $10 or more today so the CP-GA can cover the cost of meetings and campaigns to keep up the fight for election integrity here in Georgia.  Checking the “Monthly” option is an extra boost.
