On the previous Election Integrity Update Garland Favorito discussed a recent Georgia Supreme Court ruling whereby Georgia citizens, including voters, have standing to sue government officials who violate Georgia law. He then explained how this precedent is favorable to VoterGA’s Ballot Access lawsuit.
Next, Angie Durham and Sam Carnline reviewed their legal efforts to preserve the 2020 general election ballots in their respective counties and described how their efforts inspired an additional two dozen Georgians to do the same. Email Angie if you’re interested in helping in your county.
Gubernatorial candidate Kandiss Taylor reported on her campaign’s canvassing efforts, explained how she obtained affidavits from folks who voted for her, and compared these totals with the certified results of the primary election.
The Constitution Party of Georgia and other partners of the Georgia Election Integrity Coalition (GEIC) are preparing for the 2022 General Election by working to have every precinct covered with poll watchers. Help us bolster election integrity by poll watching! Tania Sosa discussed poll watchers’ efforts during Advance Voting and put out the call for volunteers to serve on Election Day. Garland Favorito followed up with the disturbing news of plans by Biden’s Department of Justice to monitor Georgia’s elections. Tania and Tamara underscored the poll watchers’ responsibilities and ways to respond in hostile situations.

P.S. Our election integrity allies Richard Jordan and the North Georgia Republican Assembly have been circulating a petition to our county elections officials. The signers are petitioning Georgia’s county elections officials to exercise their vested authority to plan, prepare, order, and execute a paper ballot hand count to tabulate all ballots immediately following the closing of the polls of the November General Election. We’re helping get the word out to collect as many signers as possible before the Election Day Paper Ballot Hand Count Petition press conference at the State Capitol to be scheduled for the first week of November. An invitation will be emailed to petition signers. We look forward to seeing you there!
P.P.S. If you are able, please chip in $10 or more today so the CP-GA can cover the cost of the meetings and campaigns to keep up the fight for election integrity here in Georgia. Checking the “Monthly” option is an extra boost.
