Our team is taking a short break this weekend to work on some election integrity-related projects, so there will be no Election Integrity Update this Saturday, August 1. We hope you’ll enjoy the weekend too, and we look forward to being back with you on Saturday, August 8th for the CP-GA Statewide Tele-Town Hall.
When we return, we will report on the first meeting of the Election Equipment Specifications and Standards Committee, which will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 606 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta. This committee was established by SB 3EX during the 2026 Special Legislative Session to develop recommendations for Georgia's next uniform election system. VoterGA’s Voting Systems Security Recommendations provides a one-page summary on this subject on page 64. We encourage all election integrity supporters to come peacefully and patriotically with t-shirts and signs. We'll provide a recap of the meeting, discuss what we know of the committee members’ background, and explain what this could mean for the future of Georgia's elections.
Until then, have a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you on August 8th!
