Many Americans have become aware that we are losing our freedoms on a daily basis. These freedoms are protected by the US Constitution, but many of us know little about that document because we have never really read it or studied it.
Several 10-week video classes on the Constitution will be offered in Cherokee County this fall that are fun, engaging, entertaining and, of course, educational. The video production was filmed by David Barton and Rick Green in Independence Hall in Philadelphia where the Constitution was actually framed! David Barton, known as America’s premier historian, owns a museum which houses the largest private collection of original documents from American history. He has over 100,000 items dated 1812 and prior. We will actually be able to study and learn directly from this material.
If you would like to learn more about this program, check it out at here:
Even if you are not able to come to all of the classes, you will still gain much value when you can come because each video is independent of the others and has tremendous value. There is no charge for the class, but there is an optional $12 workbook fee. Come join us!
While childcare is not available for very young children, all young people in school that are mature enough to find value in the course content are welcomed and encouraged to attend with their parents or grandparents.
Space is very limited, and pre-registration is necessary. To register or if you have any questions please contact Susan Bryg at [email protected] or (770) 565-2852.
