The monthly statewide Tele-Town Halls are public events where persons interested in the party can hear about the party's history and activities here in Georgia, and learn how you can get involved.
This month's special guest is Vernon Robinson. Mr. Robinson is a former United States Air Force Captain, conservative political activist, former candidate for U.S. Congress, and a former City Council member of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During the 2016 Republican presidential nomination process, Robinson was the campaign director of the National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee.
After the Republicans in Congress failed to repeal Obamacare in 2017, Robinson assessed that the GOP leadership is not interested in restoring constitutional governance. He then attended the next CP National Committee meeting and pledged his support to help build the party! Robinson noted, “The domestic enemies of the Republic now constitute the greatest threat to the Republic, possibly the greatest threat in its history. I believe that the Constitution Party has never had a greater opportunity to tap into the GOP betrayal of the country.”
Robinson was instrumental in the historic effort in North Carolina to gain ballot access in North Carolina, where the party exceeded the required number of registered voter signatures to qualify for ballot access in 2018 and 2020. The Constitution Party of Georgia is looking to repeat their success in 2020; we plan to start with non-partisan campaigns in 2019 to build momentum, then obtain the 7500 signatures to get our Presidential candidate on the ballot as well as other state and county partisan candidates. Sign up today to help us get trustworthy, credible candidates on the ballot!
With the growing discontent with the two-party establishment, concerned voters are seeking out the Constitution Party. This is an opportunity for supporters and activists to introduce friends and family to the party.
