2021 National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer (NDOP), held on the first Thursday of May, is an annual observance inviting people to pray for the nation. The 2021 NDOP theme, Lord Pour Out Your Love, Life, and Liberty, is our cry as America joins together for the 70th national observance.

Constitution Party of Georgia State Chairman Ricardo Davis noted, “Our state party convention delegates have regularly declared our submission to the Lord Jesus Christ in our efforts.  To think we could affect change in our communities apart from joining together with believers in prayer for God’s wisdom and guidance would be hypocritical at best. I encourage every party supporter to take the opportunity on Thursday, May 6, 2021 to join one of the many NDOP observances across Georgia, or volunteer at an observance in your community.”

The National Day of Prayer Task Force is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the NDOP. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. The Task Force represents a Judeo-Christian expression of the national observance based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.

The NDOP has great significance for us as a nation as it enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. It stands as a call for us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people.  Willie and Gwen Bradley, the Southeast States National Area Leaders, share their story and encourage us to join in prayer:
