I write with sadness that my friend Phil Wolf passed away in the early morning hours Tuesday. He suffered from an aggressive cancer. Phil was an integral part of the Liberty Movement in the north metro Atlanta area and a friend of the Constitution Party of Georgia. He was an example of a God-fearing Christian man who understood that the oath he took as a Marine meant his duties didn’t end on honorable discharge. He was a faithful father; I remember conversations with him about helping his son. He was a diligent worker whether in his profession or in the community. He was dedicated to educate himself about our nation’s history and thoughtfully evaluate current events with a biblical worldview.
Phil was a Christian gentleman, a standard-bearer, and a generous man – for these and similar reasons many of us looked up to him. When the party decided to take honest money donations, he paid his annual membership in silver. When a candidate took a stand to represent and defend our liberties, Phil was ready to work and give to make the campaign a success. Living out our God-given liberties wasn’t theoretical for Phil; he consciously chose to walk out his beliefs daily.
Our prayers and condolences go out to his surviving siblings, children, and grandchildren. May his example spur us on to live for Jesus in every area of life. Psalm 116:15
Phil’s funeral service will be held Sunday July 21 at 2:00 pm in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1767 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming 30041.
