Welcome Home to the Constitution Party!

The monthly Constitution Party - Cherokee County meeting is held on the third Tuesdays of the month and is open to all who are interested in learning more about the party and supporting our goals.  Meetings feature presentations that will educate and provide avenues for political action.  If you're looking for a debate club or conspiracy theory huddle then this meeting is not for you.  During our activism session members are involved in the process of political action - nobody sits on the sidelines!  We welcome patriots willing to dedicate themselves to united action to impact our city, county, and state governments.  This summer we're celebrating our state and nation's 250th anniversary through purposeful remembrance and action, starting with a screening of By Dawn's Early Light.

By Dawn’s Early Light is a powerful documentary that connects one of the most critical moments in American history with the modern-day struggle to preserve religious liberty and constitutional freedoms. The film begins during the War of 1812, as British forces launch a relentless assault on Fort McHenry in Baltimore Harbor. Through dramatic storytelling, expert interviews, and historical insight, audiences experience the night Francis Scott Key witnessed the American flag still flying at dawn—an inspiring moment that led him to write what would become the national anthem of the United States. The survival of Fort McHenry symbolized the survival of the nation itself and the enduring hope of liberty against overwhelming odds.

The documentary then turns to the present day, drawing parallels between the external threats America faced in 1814 and the internal cultural and governmental conflicts many believe threaten freedom today. The film examines concerns that religious liberties— particularly those of Christians—came under increasing pressure in recent years through government actions, policies, and public hostility toward expressions of faith. Through interviews, commentary, and investigative reporting, the documentary explores how many Americans believe core constitutional protections have been weakened or challenged from within the nation itself. 

Our goal is to remember our nation's history and its struggle to survive, and encourage concerned activists and engaged citizens to be equipped to take our place in the fight to recover and maintain our God-given rights.
