This month we remember why we are taking on the seemingly impossible task of restoring the principles that gave birth to our nation.  We will be screening The American Miracle: Our Nation is No Accident which tells the forgotten story of America’s birth. Note that this meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. which is 30 minutes earlier than our normal meeting time. Based on the book by Michael Medved, the film recounts a string of stirring deliverances on the battlefield and in the life of George Washington, along with breakthroughs in the nation’s governing charter. All these events were so unlikely they were recognized by the Founding Fathers as Divine intervention. Dramatic narratives combine with expert commentary to produce new insights and appreciation for God’s providence. It was no accident that America, despite its flaws, became a land of liberty and opportunity unparalleled in all of human history.
