Statewide Tele-Town Hall - 5/11/2024
May 8 was Governor Kemp’s deadline to sign or veto the bills passed during the 2024 legislative session into law. On last Saturday’s Tele-town Hall, Georgia’s State Freedom Caucus Director Mallory Staples reported on the fate of bills impacting our liberties, and I provided an update on the successful outcome of our Make Georgia the Election Integrity Leader campaign. David Ellerbrock introduced us to Project Appleseed and their goal to promote civic responsibility through the teaching of colonial history and the American tradition of rifle marksmanship. Click here for a list of their upcoming events in Georgia.
David Cross discussed last week’s State Election Board (SEB) meetings, especially the outcome of complaint SEB2023-025. Despite finding over 140 violations of state election law, the SEB refused to refer the case to the Attorney General for investigation and the chairman ruled two motions to reconsider out of order. David Hancock spoke about some promising rules changes to the election certification process discussed during the SEB meeting.

On last Saturday’s Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-GA) Tele-Town Hall we announced the final push to make Georgia the election integrity leader in the nation. Now Governor Kemp needs to hear from you and at least 5000 Georgians, urging him to sign SB 189 and two other election integrity bills into law before May 8th to improve voter confidence in our elections!

Mallory Staples was ill and not able to join the Town Hall, please pray for her quick recovery.
In his presentation Lt. Colonel Bob Goodrich (U.S. Army-Retired), state chairman of the Constitution Party of Pennsylvania, spoke about serving the last 10 years as an elected township supervisor in Osceola and how the party’s principles guide his work within local government. I’ve often stated that the American republic will be restored from the ground up, community by community and Bob provided wisdom and concrete examples of how we can do this in Georgia!
We often speak of the colonial “Black Robed Regiment” and their instrumental role in America’s Founding era. Kevin Parker reported on the recent Liberty Pastors Conference at St. Simon’s Island to educate pastors from around the country about liberty issues that impact their congregation. Please pray for much fruitful ministry and community impact from this effort! And I closed by highlighting how the CP-GA Platform is explicitly built upon the message those pastors received.

On last Saturday’s Statewide Tele-Town Hall we highlighted fellow patriots’ efforts to advance integrity, liberty, and prosperity as articulated in the Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-GA) platform.
Since 2020 there has been increased alarm regarding what students are being taught in public schools and the dismissive attitude of teachers and school administrators towards parental rights. The CP-GA supports educational freedom and desires to amplify the hard work of organizations building God-honoring education options for our posterity. Wayne Morrow with Freedom Project Academy (FPA) and Krisi Brannen with The King’s Academy (TKA) shared how you can help children and grandchildren receive a great educational experience.
FPA leverages technology to provide remote live K-12 instruction in a number of academic tracks, including Summer School options. Wayne highlighted their Partnership Program where they help churches across the country to provide fully accredited, Biblically-based, K-12 online classes that allow every church that sits empty Monday through Friday to start their own school.
TKA in Cherokee County, Georgia is a national leader in the hybrid education model, and is one of the largest private Christian schools in the metro Atlanta area. TKA provides all the benefits of a private school education at a fraction of the cost, while dedicated to parent-partnered, biblically-based, Christian education. Contact TKA if you are interested in enrolling or learning more about how to replicate their successes in your community.
Christina Benjamin shared her pro-life advocacy efforts and interactions with her Senator, showing us an example we can all follow. And Mallory Staples with the Georgia Freedom Caucus provided a update on legislative efforts we need to support as the current session comes to an end. Garland Favorito reviewed HB 974, HB 977 and HB 1207 and discussed VoterGA’s proposed changes to current bills to secure our elections. At the time of the call, these bills were scheduled to be heard by the Senate Ethics Committee on Monday, May 11 but that meeting was canceled.

This Saturday’s Tele-town Hall was a prelude to the Constitution Party of Georgia State Convention. Garland Favorito presented an overview of publicly available evidence that my attorney David Oles and I placed on the record during the Curling v. Raffensperger trial. Garland served as my advisor during the four-week trial, attended the trial daily, and shared first-hand knowledge of the evidence. Then Victoria Cruz reported on the election integrity legislation activity this past week (click here for file). We were then joined by U.S. Congressional candidate for Arizona Jeff Zink who spoke about “The Need & Support For The Black Robed Regiment.” That is, why Christian leaders are needed today in each state and county, and why we need to support their efforts.

On this week’s Statewide Tele-Town Hall, we highlighted the foundation of the American Republic. In the Constitution Party’s National Platform, the Preamble states, “This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on a foundation of Christian principles and values.” Pastor Matt Trewhella, author of The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates (video), spoke about that foundation which includes the God-given right that a lower-ranking civil authority has to refuse the execution of unjust or immoral laws, policies, or court opinions of a higher-ranking civil authority, that is the right to defy tyrants. He will give away a copy of his book “The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates” to one of our supporters on the call and we will announce the winner next Saturday.
As you are most likely aware, the Curling v. Raffensperger case was in court last week and is expected to continue for an additional two weeks. I (as one of the plaintiffs in this case joining in my official capacity as State Chairman of the CP-GA) was joined by Tamara and Garland to report on the first week of the trial. Also, John Eastman called in to talk about his upcoming presentation on “Orwellian Dystopia - 1984 Comes to 2024” to be held next Saturday, January 20th at noon in the Main Event Room at Roswell Office Suites, 760 Old Roswell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076.
Then Gen Wilson from Georgia Right to Life informed us of their legislative efforts to protect prenatal life in preparation for the 2024 Session, and Brooke Robyck told us about the upcoming Georgia Stand for Life Rally to be held in Atlanta on January 26 (click here for slides).

On last Saturday’s Constitution Party of Georgia Statewide Tele-Town Hall, former West Virginia State Delegate and current Constitution Party of West Virginia gubernatorial candidate Marshall Wilson spoke to us about the source of human liberties and why we need to defend those liberties.
Garland Favorito gave us an update on the 2020 lawsuit for the Fulton County counterfeit ballot case. After two attorneys for Fulton County withdrew from the case on Thursday, some speculated that the ballots were destroyed. Garland explained other possible reasons for their withdrawal and relayed a communication from the county indicating that they still have the ballots.
Salleigh Grubbs briefed us on the duplicate/triplicate votes found in the municipal election results within Cobb County. In her explanation of the records analyzed to identify duplicate voters, she mistakenly mentioned analyzing Cast Vote Records. Tania explained on the call that Cast Vote Records do not include any voter data and are not useful for detecting duplicate voters. The records used for this analysis are Voter History Files of the November 7 municipal election downloaded from the Secretary of State website (click here).
The CP-GA is part of the Georgians Ending Abortion (GEA) Coalition because we see that the unalienable right to life is one of those liberties under attack. Brook Robyck with Georgia Right to Life updated us on the efforts of the Coalition and how you can get involved by reaching out to legislators before the session starts in January.

Statewide Tele-Town Hall - 6/10/2023
While Garland was representing VoterGA at the Georgia Republican Party’s State Convention this past weekend in Columbus, it was business as usual on the Constitution Party Statewide Tele-Town Hall - working to advance integrity in government. In my presentation “Behold the Uni-Party" I discussed the ways in which those with political power use election law to maintain control and avoid accountability. Such abuse is also exercised through the executive branch of government. A recent example of this was reported by Tania Sosa on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners vote on the Republican nominees for the Board of Registrations and Elections.
As we approach the anniversary of the overturn of Roe v. Wade, we were joined by Gabrielle Bruno, organizer of June is Life Month, a recent college graduate who is rallying people from around the nation to lean into the victory the court’s Dobbs opinion and advance the cause of personhood as a counterpoint to apostate culture’s celebrations this month. Celebrate Life Month highlights activities and features a series of events to celebrate life.
During the discussion I quoted in part what George Washington said in his Farewell Address, here’s the complete quote: “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness.” We are grateful for courageous pastors and church leaders who understand this and carry on the legacy of the “black-robed regiment.” To that end this month and next month we are giving away Pastor Doug Wilson’s newly released book Mere Christendom to an attendee of the Statewide Tele-Town Hall. This month’s winner is Kathy Dickson.
