Statewide Tele-Town Hall - 2/14/2026
On last Saturday’s Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-GA) Statewide Tele-Town Hall, we featured the following speakers.
- Rhonda Thomas from Truth in Education explained SB74 which aims to hold school libraries accountable by removing their exemption from Georgia’s harmful-to-minors obscenity laws, ensuring graphic sexual or obscene materials are not accessible to children in schools.
- Garland Favorito from VoterGA walked us through the affidavit tied to the Fulton County raid on 2020 election records and outlined key claims.
- Amie Anderson provided an update on HB 350, a bill that would expand Georgia’s Safe Place for Newborns law by authorizing secure baby safety devices (often called "baby boxes") as additional safe surrender options to protect infants and support mothers without fear of prosecution.
- Wes Fuller from Operation Gospel informed us of HB 441, the Georgia Prenatal Equal Protection Act, and the upcoming Press Conference/Rally on Friday, February 20th at 1 p.m. at the State Capitol to urge Speaker Burns to grant the bill a hearing. Click here to support HB 441.
We also highlighted HB 1069, the Induced Termination Data Publication bill sponsored by Representative Emory Dunahoo, which would require the Georgia Department of Public Health to publicly release and maintain comprehensive statistical reports on induced terminations of pregnancy to enhance transparency and informed oversight. Please email Representative Dunahoo to thank him and support HB 1069.
Tamara Favorito reminded us that Tina Peters has now been in jail for 500 days. Steve Bannon’s WarRoom special report “The 500 Days of Tina Peters” was starting as we ended the Tele-Town Hall, so we held a watch party in the Overtime segment after the main program to view and discuss during his show.
To clarify a potential misunderstanding: Tania stated in the meeting chat that a Gwinnett County Board of Elections member has talked about either using the SAVE database or has asked about using it to manage voter registrations, not that it is definitively in use. I acknowledged that and commented on mic that member “has been putting the word out there over in Gwinnett County regarding using the SAVE system...”

- Garland Favorito (VoterGA) — Shared important recommendations to secure elections in Georgia, including unplugging the voting system and an independent State Election Board.
- Tamara Favorito (VoterGA) — Provided an update on the legal status of Tina Peters, whose appeal hearing is scheduled for this Wednesday (January 16, 2026, at 2:30 PM MT) in the Colorado Court of Appeals. We can watch the livestream of that hearing here.

- Brooke Hampton (Georgia Right to Life)/Ricardo Davis (CP-GA) — Outlined efforts to protect the unborn in the upcoming session. And they announced the upcoming GRTL Capitol Breakfast & Tour and the Stand for Life Memorial and March on January 30th.
Sandi Marcus (Georgia Coalition For Vaccine Choice) was unfortunately unable to join us, so her updates on health freedom and medical choice were not presented. We'll work to share any relevant developments from that space as they become available.
This was a great opportunity to connect with and hear from these dedicated grassroots voices about how we're collectively fighting for election security, limited government, and the sanctity of life during this legislative session.

The Georgia House of Representatives Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Election Procedures will have its first meeting on Tuesday morning, July 15th in Atlanta where supporters may present public comment. On the July Statewide Tele-Town Hall, Garland Favorito presented a summary of the legal issues with Dominion Democracy Suite and went over points to present to the study committee. He also updated us on the appeal of the Curling v. Raffensperger case which we will discuss in detail in an upcoming call.
Given the disenfranchisement of supporters by the Republican Party, I addressed the question: could the Constitution Party of Georgia be a home for disenfranchised MAGA Republicans to advance their political agenda? I provided where the Constitution Party of Georgia stands politically, a success story we can aim to repeat in Georgia, and discussed the strength that third parties may have in the American two-party system.
Shannon Wymer introduced Community Resilience which helps empower communities to return to traditional values and essential ways of life by fostering self-sufficiency, civic duty, economic growth, education, and Spiritual growth through stewardship and regenerative practices. Please note, Shannon misspoke on the call stating the special election was to replace Barry Loudermilk. The upcoming special election is for Brandon Beach’s seat in Senate District 21.

On the last Statewide Tele-Town Hall we focused on legislative action and building for the future. We have a final legislative call to action to ask Governor Kemp to sign SB244 to allow victims of prosecutorial misconduct to recover expenses, and HB113 to ban purchasing goods from adversarial countries. We learned that HB113 was signed into law on Friday, May 9th. And Garland filled us in on his visit to Louisiana which is the first state set to respond to President Trump’s call to the States to ban unverifiable voting systems.
In addition, attorney Catherine Bernard informed us about alarming cases of parental deprivation of rights in cases when DFCS is separating families and wrongly accusing parents of abuse. See the reports from families in Gordon County and Forsyth County. She highlighted the importance of SB259, which would allow parents a second medical opinion in parental abuse cases. And Dr. Tiffany Flock wrapped up our legislative updates with an action alert to urge Governor Kemp to veto SB144, the Pesticide Liability Protection Bill. Despite great efforts asking Governor Kemp to veto this bill, SB144 was signed on Monday, May 12th.
Call To Action
Click here to ask Governor Kemp to sign SB244 into law TODAY for recovery of attorney fees and costs in cases of prosecutorial misconduct. We need your help to move the Governor to act by May 14th.
The Constitution Party of Georgia recognizes that in addition to taking a stand today we must build and equip the next generation in the Christian faith, applying the Lordship of Jesus Christ to every area of life and thought to impact lives and communities across Georgia. Michael Thiessen joined us to share how the Ezra Institute is doing just that in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom. Along with highlighting their conferences and educational resources he told us about the Worldview Youth Academy, a week-long program designed to equip students to know, defend and apply their faith in the midst of the intellectual and practical challenges of our day.
