Election Integrity Update - 10/5/2024
On last Saturday’s Election Integrity Update, Garland Favorito discussed VoterGA’s Amicus Brief for DeKalb GOP’s Dominion Encryption Keys Lawsuit heard last Monday.
The State Election Board (SEB) will be hearing Former State Representative Dan Gasaway’s SEB Case 2018-104 complaint on October 8th. Dan joined us to review this important case that involves ineligible voters that changed the outcome of his State House election and a Sheriff’s election. Gasaway’s case was featured in an investigative news report (click here) three years ago. This involved a sitting District Attorney allegedly using the power of his office to cover up felony criminal activity by multiple elected officials, click here for the news report.
There have been reports nationwide regarding the problem of non-citizens voting in U.S. elections; Tania Sosa gave us an overview on how Georgia counties verify the citizenship of new voters.

On this Saturday’s Election Integrity Update, Marci McCarthy informed us about the DeKalb County GOP lawsuit heard in court on Monday, September 30th on the cybersecurity issue where Dominion encryption keys are publicly exposed. In addition, Tamara and Garland Favorito reviewed the final rules changes (click here for slides) that will go into effect to secure our elections starting with this November’s general election and summarized Monday’s State Election Board meeting including Jan Johnston’s mission statement and Janelle King’s statement to her colleagues addressing misrepresentations to the media undermining the board’s efforts to secure our elections. Garland also provided an update on how Fulton County is undermining the State Election Board’s monitoring effort. Election Integrity Update - 9/21/2024
On last Saturday’s Election Integrity Update, Garland and Tamara Favorito were joined by Sharlene Alexander and David Cross to report on the outcome of the September 20th State Election Board meeting (click here for video) in which 6 of the 11 proposed rules were approved. Tamara and Garland also discussed the proposed new rules to be continued on September 23rd (click here for video) and Garland informed us of his response to GAVREO’s opposition to these rule changes. Statewide Tele-Town Hall - 9/14/2024
On last Saturday’s Statewide Tele-Town Hall, Marly Hornik co-founder of United Sovereign Americans spoke to us about her organization’s multi-state legal strategy and the lawsuit against Brad Raffensperger, Chris Carr, and Merrick Garland for failing to ensure that voter rolls are maintained properly or that ballots cast and voters voted are correctly reconciled to meet federal and state standards.
Since 1987, National Life Chain has organized believers to gather nationwide on the first Sunday of every October to prayerfully stand for life. Duane Hack, chapter leader of West Georgia Right to Life and sponsor of the Stand for Life event held in Carrollton, joined us to speak about the need to stand and the impact it has on the community. The Constitution Party of Georgia endorses this effort and encourages all our supporters to consider participating this year.
Garland Favorito provided a legal update on Julie Adam’s lawsuit against Fulton County elections involving election records for certification, as well as Jason Frazier and Earl Ferguson’s lawsuit against Fulton County Elections regarding voter registrations. He and Tamara also discussed the State Election Board rule change proposals and discussed how to support them ahead of the September 20th meeting.

On last Saturday’s Election Integrity Update, Garland and Tamara Favorito reported on the outcome of the August 19 State Election Board (SEB) meeting and the Board’s decisions on the proposed rules. Attorney Harry McDougald discussed the hasty response issued by Attorney General Carr to the SEB request to investigate the 2020 Presidential election recount in Fulton County.
Sheriff Richard Mack also joined us to inform us of his historic Supreme Court ruling in Mack/Printz v US and his mission through the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association to inform sheriffs on how they can use this ruling to achieve peaceful solutions against Federal overreach. He also informed us about the 2024 Foundation for Freedom Conference to be held on September 6-7 in Orlando, Florida and how to sponsor a sheriff to attend the conference.

It’s been an eventful year for election integrity, and Garland and I want to take a moment to ask you to please thank Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives Jon Burns for his leadership in passing Georgia’s landmark election integrity bills this year and for appointing Janelle King to the SEB. She has been a steadfast voice for election integrity, and her appointment has positively changed the dynamics of the board such that a majority of members are committed to securing the 2024 election. Democrat members from the Georgia House and Senate, attorneys, and clergy asked Speaker Burns to remove Janelle King from the SEB. Let's write to let him know we support him for appointing Mrs. King! On last Saturday’s Election Integrity Update, Garland and Tamara Favorito presented their analysis of the proposed rules changes on the agenda for the State Election Board meeting held on Monday August 19th.
VoterGA recommends Georgians Safeguard Your Vote by requesting your absentee mail-in ballot early and return your ballot to your county elections office on Election Day. August 19th is the first day you can request yours, and Tania Sosa demonstrated how to obtain and fill out the absentee ballot application.
Melody Clarke from the Election Integrity Network and Virginia Fair Elections discussed Governor Glenn Younkin’s Executive Order Number 35 Comprehensive Election Security Ensuring Legal Voters and Accurate Counting. This complaint involves ineligible voters in that changed the outcome of his State House election and illustrates the corruption and dysfunction in the Georgia Secretary of State’s Investigations Division. Gasaway’s case was featured in an investigative news report three years ago.
