Election Night - What Happened?
Darrell Castle provides a post-mortem of the 2020 Presidential Election
Today's Podcast: Listen Now
Hello this is Darrell Castle with Today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday the 6th day of November in the year 2020 and to tell you the truth I don’t feel much like talking today, but I’ll try. I won’t lie to you by telling you that the Castle family is doing fine today because some of us are suffering. I’m sure the family daughter is just fine, and my dear wife Joan just rolls with the punches and tries to keep me levelheaded, but I have been suffering since Tuesday night.
There is no clear winner as of this recording, and there might not be for weeks. Will there be a new court ordered election or just endless counting and fraud allegations? One thing seems clear and that is that the world has seen the American Democratic process with all the glory and grandeur stripped away and only the chaos and division remaining... Rise to Rebellion
Darrell Castle talks about the rebellion of the people of the Commonwealth of Virginia to the new Democrat Governor’s and Legislature’s actual and proposed anti-self-defense laws.
Today's Podcast: Listen Now
Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 24, 2020, and today I will be talking about the Rebellion of the people of the Commonwealth of Virginia to the new Democrat Governor’s and Legislature’s actual and proposed anti-self-defense laws.
The people of Virginia recently elected Democrat majorities in both houses of the legislature, plus they also elected Democrat Governor Ralph Northam. The Democrats promised to move for stricter gun regulations, including possible confiscation for non-compliance, and once in office attempted to fulfill their promises. Senate Bill 16 would impose five years imprisonment on law-abiding citizens who possess some of the most common firearms in America. Under this proposed new law, people otherwise guilty of no crime, would be sentenced to five years in prison for doing something that is protected by and enshrined in the Bill of Rights... Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall!
Darrell Castle talks about the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and why it is still relevant today.
Today's Podcast: Listen Now
Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 15, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall 30 years ago this week, and why it is still relevant today. On November 9, 1989, thousands of East Germans imprisoned by the Soviet System for more than four decades began the process of tearing down the wall, just as Ronald Reagan had encouraged them to do in 1987. I remember watching it on television as if it were yesterday.
Another U.S. President went to Berlin in 1963 just two years after the wall was built and made a similar speech as a way of encouraging and showing solidarity with people imprisoned by that terrible regime. President Kennedy spoke outdoors, near the wall.hundreds of thousands of people on the east side of Berlin gathered to listen to his words by loudspeaker. The same thing happened when President Reagan spoke more than two decades later.
Why is the fall of the Berlin Wall relevant today since it has been 30 years? For one thing it helps to remember as a way to understand where you have been. If you don’t know where you’ve been its hard to understand where you are going. A second reason would be to review the long history of the cold war, the many tactics employed, and the tactic that finally worked. Finally, it may help to understand how the soviet system denied sovereignty to captive nations as does the European Union although in a different manner today... (Continue reading transcript)
