Statewide Tele-Town Hall - 3/14/2026

Georgia-capitol.jpegThe 2026 Georgia legislative session ends in less than 3 weeks; on last Saturday’s Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-GA) Statewide Tele-Town Hall, we discussed legislative updates by our allies:

  • Garland Favorito addressed the question “Will GAVREO force Georgia to keep voting using QR codes?”
  • Rhonda Thomas from Truth In Education discussed SB552 which removes a school’s discretion over allowing political organizations on campus and updated us on SB74 removing libraries’ exemption from Georgia’s harmful-to-minors obscenity laws.
  • Amie Anderson provided an update regarding the Newborn Safety Devices bill HB350 now in the Senate.

Use the link below to view the March 14th Statewide Tele-Town Hall if you missed it.  The recording will be available for 14 days after the call.

Calls to Action

Just as the State Election Board has begun delivering timely oversight and accountability, the proposed state budget would cut funding by over 40%.

  • Click here to urge lawmakers to oppose these cuts and fully fund the SEB.

Demand hand-marked paper ballots & public hand counts in Georgia this session.

  • Click here to urge lawmakers to unplug unreliable tech and secure our elections.

The Board of Commissioners (BOC) vote to reject both Republican nominees to the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections (FCBRE) is both unlawful, partisan and unethical. And now that the Fulton County Republican Party (FCRP) has sued the BOC to do its duty, the BOC’s attorney is using every legal tactic to delay. The Georgia Court of Appeals recently denied the BOC’s request for oral arguments, so a ruling is expected. The BOC attorney is prepared to take this matter to the Georgia Supreme Court!

  • Click here to demand the Fulton County Commissioners to stop delaying and Appoint Jason Frazier and Re-appoint Julie Adams to the FCBRE now.

P.S. The House approved budget would cut State Election Board funding by more than 40% just as the Board significantly increased the pace of election investigations and case resolutions.  Click here to urge lawmakers in the Senate Government Operations Subcommittee to oppose these cuts and support full funding for effective election oversight.

P.P.S. Our impact is growing because of new supporters, and we have big goals for 2026! Please consider donating today — every bit helps us get more citizens involved, fight corruption, and advance integrity in government, starting with our elections!
