CP-GA Picks Castle, Dr. Paul Broun for Presidential Ticket
ATLANTA, GA - The Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-GA) held its state convention on June 10th in McDonough. As expected, members selected Darrell Castle, the keynote speaker and Constitutional attorney from Tennessee, as its Presidential nominee.
In a surprise move the members also unanimously nominated Dr. Paul Broun, a native son and former U.S. Congressman, for the Vice-President slot. CP-GA Chairman Ricardo Davis explained: “Dr. Broun has one of the most impressive conservative track records of any Congressman who has ever served in Washington. The CP-GA’s mission is to elect individuals like him in all facets of civil government.”Read more
ATLANTA, GA - 06/09/2016 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) PAC, the premier political action organization in Georgia fighting for the sanctity of life, made the bold step today of endorsing constitutional conservative Darrell Castle for President. Castle is running on the Constitution Party ticket and is a strong proponent of life, liberty and limited government.
GRTL PAC Director Genevieve Wilson stated, "America is in a political and moral free fall. We need someone who understands our founding principles and truly respects the immeasurable value of human life. Darrell Castle is that person. Some candidates support unlimited abortion, while others play word games to sound pro-life. It’s time to elect someone who will protect all innocent children, the infirm, and the elderly."Read more
ATLANTA, GA - 06/08/2016 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Darrell Castle, the only constitutional conservative running in any national political party for President in 2016, will be speaking in McDonough this Friday evening at the Constitution Party of Georgia’s State Convention. The convention will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn located at 250 Avalon Court.
With the increasing dissatisfaction among voters regarding the two leading parties' choices, Castle offers a viable alternative for voters concerned about religious liberty, the sanctity of life, protecting and adhering to the Constitution and true limited government. The meeting is open to the general public and is a great opportunity to learn more about a serious alternative for the November election. More information about the convention and registration can be found at gaconstitutionparty.org.
Summertime is here! Children are out of school. Memorial Day gave us opportunity to remember those who gave their last measure of devotion to our nation. And frustrations with the Republican-Democrat duopoly continue to heat up. Hard questions are being asked about whether the duopoly actually represents what they tell the voters. Devoted partisan activists are faced with their political party’s rejection of values they hold dear. Now is the time for a separate, unique, and distinct political party, and as ballot access petition signer remarked this is the year the Constitution Party can build it from the grassroots up!
In this month’s Update we highlight the upcoming 2016 State Convention on Friday evening, June 10th in McDonough, and the status of ballot access efforts in Georgia from Ballot Access Coordinator Carolyn Cosby. This month's articles address topics of Georgia electoral politics, discuss the criteria for voting, training your politician (instead of the other way around), and the proper role of the courts in applying the law. These are also available on the state party website, and speak to a number of current discussions surrounding politics.
Howard Phillips' political philosophy promoted the basic principles of Christian civil government. This cannot be achieved by duopoly reform groups like the Democratic Pro-Life Caucus, the various TEA Party groups, or the Republican Assembly, but rather by the Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-Ga) working to build a multifaceted network of like-minded supporters and organizations to achieve specific political ends with a multi-generational vision to build. True spiritual revival in our communities provides the soil in which the CP-Ga can thrive. The party’s expansion will be paced with the growth of a constituency that will vote for representatives who have the courage to implement the party's principles.
Currently all of the party’s elected officials around the country are serving in local offices. Here's the long game: our presidential campaign attracts voters, building our base of support. This positions us to win battles over the next four years in our communities!
With a vision of victory,
