Three-Step Plan Announced To Combat Same-Sex Marriages in Georgia

Macon, GA -- Rev. Darryl Foster, executive director of the National Black Marriage Initiative, will outline a three-step plan to short circuit the plans of the promoters of same-sex marriages. Foster is best known for his influence in support of Senate Resolution 595 which will give Georgia voters the ability to strengthen the state constitution against homosexual marriages. Foster says: “I will call upon the audience to employ three main strategies against same sex marriage.
(1) Make absolute demands on any public official. Officials, whether in office or aspiring to office must not be allowed to run on centrist ideologies when it comes to same-sex marriage. Their position must be public record!
(2) Use the power of personal persuasion in the public square, the local community and in church, and
(3) Move into the realm of realist activism. Show up, speak up, but never give up.”

State Chairman Ricardo Davis reflected on the timeliness of this message. “The U.S. Senate on Tuesday voted for Ted Kennedy’s legislation to expand ‘hate crimes’ legislation to cover crimes that target people because of their sexual orientation, etc. Most Georgians would look to the Republican Party to lead the resistance, however Senate leaders like George Allen (R-VA) reneged on promises to not vote for the homosexual lobby’s ‘hate crimes’ legislation. Not one Republican senator made the moral case against this legislation. On the contrary, 18 Republicans voted for this legislation.”

Foster will unveil his plan at the State Convention. Georgia voters will also be interested as various leaders discuss abortion, illegal immigration, Free Trade Area of the Americas, electronic voting, and income taxes.

Information about the convention can be found at the Party’s web site at http://www.gaconstitutionparty.org/.
