Georgia Right to Life President Dan Becker to Speak at 2008 State Convention March 15
(ATLANTA, March 8) The Constitution Party of Georgia (CP-Ga) welcomes Dan Becker, president of Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) as a featured speaker at the CP-Ga 2008 State Convention March 15th. The fundamental purpose of GRTL is to engage in actions that will restore respect and effective legal protection for all human beings from the moment of fertilization until natural death. The GRTL is a pacesetter among the state affiliates of the National Right to Life Committee in promoting the passage of the Paramount Human Life Amendment (HR 536) to the Georgia state constitution.
Becker will be speaking about the Georgia Paramount Human Life Amendment and the need to find and support 100% pro-life candidates. Becker observed that, "Only pro-life candidates will have the fortitude to make laws that protect all innocent human life from fertilization to natural death. The Constitution Party nationally has a proven track record to back their platform's 100% pro-life claim: every elected Constitution Party candidate has followed up on their party’s platform with decisive action."
State Chairman Ricardo Davis welcomed the March 7th announcement by Becker broadcast to the GRTL supporters via email encouraging attendance of the State Convention as a pro-life political action opportunity. Davis noted, "My passion is to build support for the state party's vision to honor God, defend the family and restore the American republic. By God's grace we will follow in the footsteps of the Constitution Party of Montana and raise up pro-life state legislators like Montana state representative Rick Jore, sponsor and chief advocate of the Montana Life Amendment (www.life2008.org). Given the GOP leadership in Georgia's House of Representatives was instrumental in tabling HR 536 this legislative session rather than championing its passage and using their influence to protect the citizens of Georgia, voters who are serious about defending the unalienable right to life given by our Creator see the need for supporting the efforts of the CP-Ga."
