Astute citizens across Georgia who revere the timeless principles found in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution have seen the erosion of our Republic accelerate in recent days. Those who championed the sanctity of human life, toiled to preserve the Bill of Rights, engaged to protect our economy from the impact of globalization on jobs and wages, sought to protect our nation against foreign invasion, and advocated arresting a debt-ridden government full of corruption by stopping unconstitutional spending have seen that the leadership of the Democrat and Republican parties are committed to frustrate our efforts. Action to change course from within these organizations has failed to reverse the trend. Now is the time to raise up the standard of our Founding Fathers “relying upon the protection and guidance of Almighty God,” build an informed base of citizens who will “pledge their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor” to the work. This is the hour to raise up statesmen who will lead with wisdom, strength, integrity, and humility to restore the Republic beginning at local level. This is the purpose of the Constitution Party of Georgia. Join us today in laying a sure foundation for the future of Georgia at this year's convention! The keynote speaker will be John Eidsmoe Professor of Law, Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy who also serves as Senior Staff Attorney for the Alabama Supreme Court. Professor Eidsmoe is the lecturer of the popular Institute on the Constitution study course and author of many books and lectures including Christianity & the Constitution: The Faith of Our Founding Fathers, God & Caesar: Biblical Faith & Political Action, and “God & Government: A Study of the Bible’s Relevance to the Issues of Today.” He is an ordained pastor with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations and serves on the Board of Lutherans for Life, and is a constitutional attorney who has defended home schools, Christian schools, the right of students to study the Bible in public schools, and the right to display the Ten Commandments in the public arena.
